CAST Services (hereinafter referred to as “CAST SERVICES” or “we”) is committed to protecting your privacy online. You are important to us, and we will take special care to maintain your trust. In order to fully understand your rights, we encourage you to read this Privacy Statement which apply to your use of the CAST SERVICES web site(s) operated by CAST SERVICES (e.g., https://cast.services). Please direct questions regarding this Privacy Statement [email protected]. Your use of the CAST SERVICES Site indicates your express consent to our collection, storage, use and disclosure of your personal information in the manner described. This Privacy Statement is effective upon acceptance.

When does CAST SERVICES collect information?
CAST SERVICES gathers information from users in three ways: (1) voluntary registration, (2) through use of cookie technology and web beacons, and (3) by recording an anonymous version of the IP addresses of those who browse our site and log files. For users outside the United States, your use of the CAST SERVICES Site indicates your consent to the transfer of your personal information to the United States and the storage of it on servers located there.

Voluntary Registration. When you create an account with CAST SERVICES, request us to contact you, register to receive information from us, and/or wish to use the CAST SERVICES Site, we may ask for certain necessary personal information like your name, email address, and phone number. Other specific services, which may be offered to you by CAST SERVICES from time to time, may have additional registration requirements and may require you to provide additional information.

Cookies. CAST SERVICES uses a browser cookie(s) to remember information about your working session when using the CAST SERVICES product and services. This possibly includes your login name (but not your password), a unique number assigned by CAST SERVICES, the ID of the specific CAST SERVICES account you last used, and other data that helps to improve your experience working with our product. CAST SERVICES uses cookies to make your use of the CAST SERVICES Site easier. Your browser may notify you when CAST SERVICES attempts to put a cookie on your hard drive and you may refuse to accept it. If you refuse cookies, your ability to use the CAST SERVICES Site will be impaired, or you may not be able to access certain information. If you would like to remove the cookie(s) used by CAST SERVICES, you can do so by following directions provided by the manufacturer of your specific browser. This usually involves clearing the cache and local storage area. For example, using the Safari browser, you can select the “Clear History” option from the History menu. For FireFox, you can select the “Clear Recent History…” option from the History menu. And for Chrome, you can select “Show Full History” from the History menu, then select “Clear Browsing Data”.

When you visit a website of a CAST SERVICES customer, our software may also use a browser cookie(s) at that time to remember or retrieve a unique number assigned by our software. This number can not be used by others to identify you personally but does allow CAST SERVICES to track which websites you have visited including the time you visited, the pages you viewed, and how you arrived to the website.

We also collect your IP address when you visit a website of a CAST SERVICES customer, however, our customer can elect to have the IP address modified to be anonymous.

In some cases, our customers also use special CAST SERVICES capabilities to record impressions of digital advertisements that may appear in your browser as you visit other websites throughout the internet. In all cases, you can remove the cookie(s) used by CAST SERVICES by following directions provided by the manufacturer of your specific browser.

Web Beacons. CAST SERVICES may use electronic code known as web beacons – sometimes called a pixel or tag – that assist in delivering cookies on our sites and on our customer’s sites and within email messages we send or that are sent by our customers. We may include web beacons in promotional email messages or our newsletters in order to determine whether messages have been opened and acted upon. CAST SERVICES may also employ web beacons from third parties in order to help us compile aggregated statistics and determine the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns. The CAST SERVICES Universal Conversion Tracking Pixel is one such web beacon that we use and our customers use to create and update cookies as well as send information to our backend servers for storage.

Log Files and IP Address. CAST SERVICES may log standard information about your visit, including an anonymous version of your IP address, browser type and language, access times, referring website addresses, the pages you view, the links you click and other actions taken in connection with the website. It is not possible to identify you personally from the type of information that CAST SERVICES gathers in this way.

Analysis. When we place a cookie in your browser with a unique identifier, it allows our software to remember how you came to our website, what pages you have viewed, forms you have completed, material you have reviewed or downloaded, and more.  With whom does CAST SERVICES share information?
You also acknowledge and agree that in certain circumstances CAST SERVICES must share user information with specific third parties for the purpose of providing additional services. In particular, CAST SERVICES has several service partners who provide services or products and as part of such operations, these companies may be provided certain of your contact information. CAST SERVICES will endeavor to ensure that any third parties to whom we disclose your personal information abide by the terms of this Privacy Statement. In other instances we may be obliged to disclose your personal information in order to conform to any requirements of law or to comply with any legal process, as well as to protect and defend the rights of CAST SERVICES, and/or our customers. CAST SERVICES reserves the right to transfer information (including your personal information) to a third party in the event of a sale, merger, liquidation, receivership, or transfer of all or substantially all of the assets of CAST SERVICES, a subsidiary, or a line of business associated with CAST SERVICES.

In addition, CAST SERVICES also discloses aggregated user statistics in order to describe our services and reach to prospective partners, advertisers and other third parties. However, aggregate data is not traceable to you specifically. Except for these situations, we will not disclose your personal information to any third parties except to the extent necessary to provide you with a requested service or under circumstances required by law. We will disclose your personal information when we believe in good faith that any applicable law, regulation or legal process requires it, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect or enforce our rights. Specific uses of personal information that vary from this Privacy Statement (if any) may be found in the terms and conditions or privacy policies applicable to that particular service. To the extent that you are notified of uses of your personal information which are different from those described in this Privacy Statement during your enrollment in any particular service, contest or promotion, the uses of which you are specifically notified will govern that service, sweepstakes, contest or promotion.

Please note, however, that we do not control the privacy policies of our advertisers and other third party sites to which we provide banner ads and links. If you click through a banner ad or link and submit your information to an advertiser, you will be subject to their own privacy policies. CAST SERVICES assumes no responsibility or liability for these third party policies or the actions of non-affiliated third parties.

How does CAST SERVICES safeguard my privacy?
We take our responsibilities seriously and employ appropriate physical and technical measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access. Although CAST SERVICES uses reasonable efforts to safeguard the privacy of your personal information, transmissions made by means of the Internet cannot be made absolutely secure. CAST SERVICES assumes no liability for disclosure of data due to errors in transmission or unauthorized third parties.

In addition, we offer our customers the ability to “anonymize” your IP address. If this capability has been enabled, your IP address is modified in memory to change the last octet to 0 (zero) before it is stored on disk. This eliminates the ability for our customers to link a specific IP address to you personally.

What else should I know about my privacy?
You should be aware that if you voluntarily disclose personal information online in a public area, that information may be collected and used by others. We do not control the actions of our visitors and registered users. If you disclose personal information in a publicly accessible place in the CAST SERVICES Site, you do so at your own risk and you understand that your submitted information may be collected and used by others to send you unsolicited messages, advertisements, or for other purposes. Please remember that you are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of any password you use to register and you should always be careful and responsible whenever disclosing information online.

By using the CAST SERVICES Site and services, you signify your acceptance of this Privacy Statement. If you do not agree or are not comfortable with any policy described in this Privacy Statement, your only remedy is to discontinue use of the CAST SERVICES Site. We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Statement at any time. Your continued use of any portion of the CAST SERVICES Site following notification or posting of such changes will constitute your acceptance of those changes.
